Happy Belated Halloween

The roomies and I dressed up as magnetic fridge poetry for our ward party. It took about 5 minutes to get everyone ready and was a big hit...once everyone figured out what we were.
Nate and I dressed up like nerds for his ward party. He was the cutest nerd there and took third place in the costume contest. What a stud!

Expecting Great Things Indeed!

Well howdy doodey! Last week I had an interview with Kohl's department store on campus. I was really nervous but thought the interview went well. I was anxiously waiting for their response this week and kept getting phone calls from strange numbers not even thinking it would be them...duh! Today I received an e-mail that they have been trying to call me (sorry!) would like to meet with me at their corporate offices in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin for an all expenses paid final interview November 6-7! I'm so excited for the opportunity! I would be working as a buying intern for them this summer, getting paid well, doing something I love, and chillin in Milwaukee. Sweet! Well, keep your fingers crossed for the final interview and I'll keep ya posted. Woohoo!

I Support Propsition 8!

I believe that marriage is ordained of God and is to be between one man and one woman. I believe that success in marriage is best achieved when all three of these individuals work together to establish a setting where a family can flourish in love and harmony. I believe that children are entitled to a loving mother AND father in a home.

Mighty Putty Rocks!

So a couple of weeks ago I went to the grocery store. As I pulled into my practically front row spot, the old man parked in the handicap spot next to me said, "Young lady, I just wanted to let you know that your bumper is falling off." Ah, nothing like words of wisdom from dirty old men. Well, he was correct and my uncle, also concerned about the state of my bumper recommended (and let me use) Mighty Putty. Today, I am happy to say that my bumper is securely fashioned to the car so that old men sitting in front of grocery stores no longer need to fret. Mission accomplished.

I'm a Blogger!

Hi! My name is Mal and I am now officially a blogger. Cool trick! I wanted to begin blogging for a couple of reasons:

1. I don't have facebook and therefore (according to everyone and their dog) have no "real" friends . . . right.
2. Its a fun and free way to keep in touch with family and friends.
3. I can voice my opinion about things that are important to me.
4. I'm bored.

Great. Well now that we've established that, here's a little about me. I am from the great state of Minnesota but am currently attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah (aka "The Bubble"). I was accepted as a marketing management major in the Marriott School of Management last spring and am now totally overwhelmed with (but loving) my business classes. Life is good and so busy and I am loving my time here at BYU.
